Working Together to Tell Your Story

Before writing your story, I will ask you to send responses to the checklists that link from the Home page. If what we are documenting falls into a category for which I haven’t yet composed a checklist, I will prepare one for your specific event or remembrance.
After reviewing your responses, I’ll arrange an hour-long virtual or live interview in which we’ll expand the focus. If you want others in on the interview, we’ll arrange that.
Soon after, I will send you a first draft in Microsoft Word or as a Google Doc. You can edit or mark up changes, and return them as a computer file or snail mail. We will then schedule another interview to nail the details.
Shortly after this second interview, I will send finished copy.
Fees and payment:
Stories and profiles up to 500 words (2 pages): $300
Additional pages (up to 250 words): $150
Custom stories and profiles: As agreed
Payment must be received prior to the initial live or phone interview. I accept checks and Venmo.
If snail mail is used, you will be asked to remit postage/handling costs.
